Jessica Alba’s Honest Beauty range comes to the UK
We are hoping that this soon means Ireland too…
Ah, we love Jessica Alba. With her gorgeous glowing skin and hair that never seems to pit a foot wrong. Well, you know what we mean!
Having launched her brand The Honest Company in 2012, she told us “I created The Honest Company because you shouldn’t have to choose between what works and what’s good for you.” We love everything about this brand and it’s ethos. Just a browse through their site will make you feel like being a better person!
So, having started with Baby care and skin care, Jessica has now just launched Honest Beauty. It is a collection of skincare and make-up products that are made from botanically based ingredients and scientific formulas. They give full disclosure on what goes into all of their products on their site.
The products, until now, were only available in the states, but late last year, a small selection of her products were launched into Boots in the UK.
We really hope that they will make it to the Boots stores in Ireland too (until then, you may be able purchase online via Boots in the UK, we haven’t tried this yet!).
But what we also love about this range is the price point. All of the products appear to be in the $20- $30 price bracket. An invisible loose powder for $20 and an eyeliner for under $10….We are told that the ‘must have’ item is the Magic Beauty Balm (£16) which apparently can do just about anything.
Well, that may be a slight exaggeration, but it tells us that it can be used on dry patches, on lips and even as an emergency hair serum (that explains it!).
We can’t wait to try these products, so as soon as we manage to get our mitts on them, we will be sure to let you know!
