Sustainability Summit 2021 is here
As COP26 comes to an end, what do we do now?
If we learned anything at COP26, it’s that we must take real action now, rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck in. The world is watching, our planet cannot wait.
But with information and media stories hitting us from every direction over the last 2 weeks, company owners are still catching their breath from what they heard and what they (hopefully) learned. And many of them are still looking for help to move forward.
For so many owners, as they face back into their businesses, they will be asking themselves ‘What do I do now? How can I change? And who is going to help point me in the right direction?’
Which is why this year’s National Sustainablity Summit, couldn’t come at a better time…
Happening in the RDS, Simmonscourt on 24th November, this event will shine a spotlight on all of the hot topics in the sustainability industry right now, including the circular economy, energy efficiency, carbon reduction, recycling & even data centres!
We will hear from host of great speakers like Brian O’Kennedy, Managing Director of Clearstream Solutions, Declan Bogan from Innovate2Zero, Mike Higgins, the Founder of Circularwise and Katie Mills, Head of Sustainable Development & Innovation UK & Ireland at Schneider Electric.
Also happening on the 24th, is the CIRCULÉIRE’s Annual Conference. This is a half-day event (10am – 1:30 pm), taking place as part of the National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Expo, also happening in the RDS that day.
There is so much happening in this space right now as momentum behind the circular economy transition in Ireland is building quickly and businesses are looking to get on board.
If you are serious about taking your organisation to the next level of reducing carbon emissions and and finding ways that you can make your business more sustainable, this is an event you need to be at.
What can you expect by attending on the 24th of November:
Gain insights into Ireland’s evolving circular economy policy landscape, with key notes from the Department of Environment, Climate Action and Communication; the Environmental Protection Agency and EIT Climate-KIC – Europe’s largest public-private partnership dedicated to climate innovation.
Hear from a cross-sector of industry – micro-enterprise, SMEs and MNCs alike about how they are putting circular economy into practice – exploring barriers and how to overcome them.
